Saint Augustine’s University served as host for UNCF’s Annual Governor’s Luncheon on Wednesday, March 20. Gov. Pat McCrory was the keynote speaker for the event, which was a fundraiser for UNCF.

During his speech, McCrory highlighted three issues related to education he plans to work on during his term. Connecting commerce and education, reducing the cost of education, and taking advantage of technology to improve education will be a few of the issues the governor plans to take on, he said.
