Saint Augustine’s University students celebrated the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday by helping individuals in the community by helping them paint and clean their apartments.

“My MLK day of service experience gave me a sense of happiness,” said Brionna Snowden, a junior from Dallas majoring in criminal justice.

Vionna Kelly, a junior from Patterson, N.J. majoring in human performance and wellness, said, “It was truly a humbling experience to be able to give back to my community.”

Other Saint Augustine’s University students, who are members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. participated in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. march and volunteered at the local Boy’s Club.
